Commercial Model Landscape Benchmark

As part of TGaS Advisors’ mission to create ongoing value for our clients, TGaS is undertaking a comprehensive landscape benchmark focused on understanding the state of commercial model change in the pharmaceutical industry. Now’s the time for TGaS to provide a quantifiable and trusted benchmark about the evolution of approaches to meet customer and stakeholder needs, and to discern fact from fiction in a marketplace full of pressures, opportunities and threats.

  • Comprehensive landscape benchmark focused on evolving commercial models in the pharma and biotech industries
  • Provide a ‘quantifiable’, trusted benchmark about the evolution of approaches to meet customer and stakeholder needs
  • Benefits—unique, fact-based information to assist in decision making

Two things are certain – first, there is no right or wrong model. We see that companies are taking different approaches, based on very different corporate, stakeholder and customer imperatives. We also see many examples of “change labels” that sound like one thing, but in actuality mean and deliver something different. A fact-from-fiction approach to exploring industry models and the factors driving those models will be informative—and will serve to confirm or challenge prevailing wisdom.

Second, further changes are imminent as companies continue to adjust to internal factors and external forces. Companies can benefit from understanding the leading indicators of substantive and durable change. Providing a baseline of existing and imminent alternative models, along with leading indicators of success in implementing change will provide clients with unique information to assist in decision making.

All participants in this landscape benchmark will receive a high level summary of the results and implications.

Results of benchmark are anticipated in early October 2010.
