TGaS® Advisors Named to Philadelphia 100®, Region’s Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies
East Norriton, Penn., October 7, 2009 – TGaS Advisors, a leading benchmark and advisory services firm for pharmaceutical commercial organizations, announced it has been included on the Philadelphia 100’s 2009 list of the fastest growing privately held companies in the Philadelphia region for the second year in a row. The Philadelphia 100 is an annual program conducted by the Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia, Philadelphia Business Journal and Wharton Small Business Development Center. Rankings were unveiled at the program’s 20th anniversary event held October 1, 2009, at Philadelphia’s Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.
Managing Partner Stephen E. Gerard attributes TGaS Advisors’ growth to the firm’s collaborative relationship with clients and innovative thinking about their needs. “As the healthcare industry undergoes radical change, leaders of Commercial Organizations have a unparalleled opportunity to provide valuable guidance to their companies,” said Gerard. “As trusted advisors to our clients, we can give them the objective advice they need to be more strategic and more effective.”
Despite the difficult economic climate, TGaS Advisors achieved a three-year growth rate of more than 500 percent, introducing new benchmarks in Commercial Compliance, Integration Services and Sales Leadership, adding to its client roster and providing deeper services to existing clients. The company has added staff, including the recent appointment of Anthony Sorce as Vice President for New Business Development.
