Brian Deppen Joins TGaS Advisors Managed Markets Practice
East Norriton, Penn., February 25, 2009 – TGaS® Advisors, a comprehensive benchmarking company focused on pharmaceutical commercial operations, announced Brian Deppen has joined the company’s Managed Markets practice as a Director and Management Advisor to help expand services in that division.
Deppen joined TGaS Advisors from the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca where he most recently held a position in managed markets training. During his 13-year career at AstraZeneca, where he started as a financial analyst, Deppen also gained analytical experience within managed markets and worked in the sales field as a district manager.
“Brian’s thorough understanding of today’s marketplace, where most prescription drug expenditures are managed by private and government third-party payers, will strengthen TGaS Advisors’ ability to serve clients and deepen our Managed Markets benchmarking services,” said Brian Bamberger, Vice President, Managed Markets Practice Leader, TGaS Advisors. “He knows that pharmaceutical companies cannot afford to overlook the strategic importance of payers and the tremendous influence they have on commercial performance.”

Deppen earned his MBA at the Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC, and holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Duke University, Durham, NC. He lives in Swarthmore, Penn.
