TGaS Advisors Appoints Curt Staab Director, Management Advisor, Sales Advisory Practice

East Norriton, Penn., February 25, 2009 – Curt Staab has been appointed Director, Management Advisor, within the Sales Advisory Practice at TGaS^® Advisors, the only comprehensive benchmarking company focused on pharmaceutical commercial operations. In this role, Staab works directly with clients on existing initiatives and also contributes to the development of new services to help pharmaceutical companies improve their commercial operations.

A veteran of the pharmaceutical industry, Staab spent 18 years at Merck where he acquired a diverse and cross-functional background as he assumed positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently at Merck, Staab served as Senior Director, Sales Information & Incentive Compensation. In that position, he directed a department of 20 professionals supporting more than 20 sales forces and 7,000 field-based employees.

“With first-hand experience in virtually all aspects of pharma sales operations, Curt brings insight and perspective that will strengthen our capabilities,” said TGaS Advisors Vice President, Management Advisor John P. Carro. “He will be a valuable addition to the TGaS Advisors team as we refine existing benchmarks and create new tools to help pharma clients manage day-to-day challenges while devising strategies for future growth.”

Staab earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas. He lives in Lansdale, Penn.
