Sharon Patent Appointed Director, Marketing Sciences Operations Practices, at TGaS® Advisors, Adding New Dimension to Analytics Capabilities

East Norriton, Penn., October 2, 2008 – TGaS® Advisors, the only comprehensive benchmarking company focused on pharmaceutical commercial operations, today announced Sharon Patent has been appointed Director, Marketing Sciences Operations Practices (MSOPs).

Patent will be responsible for benchmarking and advisory services in such key areas as brand and channel marketing analytics and strategy, forecasting, primary research strategy and management, secondary research data management and innovation strategy and management in marketing sciences.

During a career spanning 18 years in pharmaceutical marketing research and marketing science, Patent developed expertise in patient longitudinal data, promotion evaluation and response modeling. Before joining TGaS Advisors, she was Director, Sales, Healthcare Analytics: Research & Consulting with Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading provider of information for professionals and students in medicine, nursing, allied health, pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry. Earlier in her career, Patent worked as a marketing scientist at Ciba Geigy Pharmaceuticals (now Novartis) and Merck & Co., Inc.

Patent received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology/Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and her Masters degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is a resident of Lafayette Hill, Penn.
