TGaS® Advisors Appoints James P. Castello Director, Management Advisor
East Norriton, Penn., April 14, 2008 – TGaS® Advisors, the only comprehensive benchmarking company focused on pharmaceutical commercial operations, today announced James P. Castello has been appointed Director, Management Advisor. He will join the Sales Operations Practice in providing innovative services to clients.
Castello comes to TGaS Advisors from Synygy Inc., a market leader in enterprise incentive management applications software and services. Most recently at Synygy, Castello held the position of Managing Director in the client operations group with sales, operations and customer responsibility for 20% of the company’s U.S. operations.
Prior to his years at Synygy, Castello held senior marketing and management positions with companies including Conrail, the $5 billion freight railroad, and at a luxury catering company serving the Philadelphia market.

Castello said he believes his background in a range of business settings will enable him to bring fresh insights to the pharmaceutical industry. “Often, it’s very useful to assess a company’s commercial operations from an outside perspective and I look forward to putting my analytical skills to work on behalf of TGaS Advisors’ clients.”
He holds an MBA from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Penn. He earned his undergraduate degree in finance from the same institution.
