TGaS® Advisors Hires Brian Bamberger to Spearhead Managed Markets Benchmarks as Vice President, Management Advisor
EAST NORRITON, Pa., May 1, 2008— TGaS® Advisors, the only comprehensive benchmarking company focused on pharmaceutical commercial operations, today announced that Brian Bamberger has joined the firm as Vice President, Management Advisor for TGaS Advisors’ Managed Markets Practice. He has lead responsibilities for all TGaS Advisors Managed Markets-based benchmarks within the firm’s PHARMASTANCE® family of operational benchmarks. These have expanded to include Managed Markets Marketing Operations Practices, Managed Markets Measurement Operations Practices and Managed Markets Contracting Operations Practices.
Mr. Bamberger’s expertise spans more than 20 years of achievement in the pharmaceutical and healthcare information industry. Prior to joining TGaS Advisors, he was with MediMedia, where, as division president of MediMedia Information Technologies, he developed managed care measures and tools. As COO of SMG Marketing Group, he led the profiling and market tracking of managed markets for pharmaceutical companies and the medical device industry before the company was acquired and became Verispan.
Mr. Bamberger’s healthcare career started at IMS Health, where he spent eight years. As Director of Managed Care Marketing, Mr. Bamberger developed PlanTrak and other information services that identify the impact of managed care organizations on patient care. Mr. Bamberger graduated from LaSalle University with a BA in Finance and earned an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University Pharmaceutical MBA program.
