TGaS® Advisors Creates New Position to Accommodate Business Growth; Pharma Veteran Tom Bang Joins as Executive in Residence
EAST NORRITON, Pa., Feb. 19, 2008 - TGaS® Advisors, the only comprehensive benchmarking company focused on pharmaceutical commercial operations, today announced Tom Bang has been appointed Executive in Residence to help guide the company’s internal operations and work with clients.
Bang brings an extensive and wide-ranging background in the pharmaceutical industry to this newly created position. The guidance he will provide in his dual role working internally and externally will enable TGaS Advisors to more effectively and efficiently meet the emerging needs of its pharmaceutical clients.

During more than 30 years working in the pharmaceutical sector, Bang gained insights about almost every aspect of the business. The bulk of his career was spent at Roche Laboratories where he began as an award-winning sales representative before moving on to hold positions of increasing responsibility, including Chief Operating Officer, Roche Pharmaceuticals Canada. He subsequently was assistant vice president, business planning, for Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories, responsible for U.S. market research, information and planning functions. Prior to joining TGaS, Bang was president of TVG Marketing Research & Consulting.
Bang said he intends to tap the knowledge he’s acquired to help TGaS Advisors continue to develop and refine practical, unique tools for pharma companies. “The energy and creativity at TGaS Advisors are impressive, and I’m delighted at the opportunity to join such a dynamic organization.”
