TGaS® Advisors Creates New Position; Pharma Veteran Gary McWalters Joins as Director of Marketing and Business Development
EAST NORRITON, Pa., Jan. 30, 2008 - TGaS® Advisors, the only comprehensive benchmarking company focused on pharmaceutical commercial operations, today announced Gary McWalters has joined the company as Director of Marketing and Business Development.
In this newly created position, McWalters will have responsibility for marketing initiatives in support of TGaS Advisors’ benchmarks within the firm’s PHARMASTANCE® family of operational benchmarks and all aspects of new business development.
With an extensive background in the pharmaceutical business, McWalters most recently was with Abbott Laboratories where he served as director of respiratory commercial development. While at Abbott, he established and led a respiratory team supporting products to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Earlier in his career, McWalters also held senior marketing positions at Kos Pharmaceuticals and Schering-Plough Corporation. While at Schering-Plough, he was also a member of the field force and field sales leadership team.
“Gary’s knowledge and expertise will enable TGaS Advisors to broaden our efforts to provide pharma companies with unique and actionable information about their commercial operations,” said Stephen E.
