Manager, Analytics

The Manager, Analytics position at TGaS will be responsible for working with benchmark information from clients and drawing insights and recommendations from those engagements. The candidate will have a proven track record of analytical insight generation, as well as the ability to be a strategic thinker. The position will require a driven person to develop and execute the generation of insights for clients in pharmaceutical sales, marketing, and managed markets operations. The candidate will also be experienced in using analytical tools to organize and present information in a format that highlights the meaningful trends and relevant insights.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review benchmark information, and identify meaningful trends, insights, and recommendations for client engagements.
  • Create customized analysis that presents the trends and insights in a meaningful way.
  • Utilize and improve custom automation tools to make client deliverables more efficient.
  • Utilize off the shelf analytical tools to mine the benchmark information and draw out meaningful trends and insights.
  • Lead the analytics and report development process as in integral project team member for a client engagement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the operational processes that are being benchmarked, so a business context can be added when analyzing the information.
  • Manage report analysts to collect benchmark information, and produce automated reports.
  • Participate in ongoing product development. Identify ways to utilize analytics and technology to improve benchmark product offerings

Required Experience

A Bachelor’s degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred, but not a requirement. The ideal candidate is an executive with:

  • Experience analyzing and providing insights in the area(s) of sales, marketing, and managed markets to the pharmaceutical industry (5 + years)
  • A documented track record of developing and implementing analytical insights for Pharmaceutical sales and marketing solutions.
  • Proven leadership skills: can manage others effectively
  • Works well in a dynamic, collaborative team based environment
  • Experience with data driven projects and using analytical tools to develop and convey insights.
  • A documented history of a team orientation and collaborative approach in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and competencies
  • Strong group presentation skills, including strong verbal and writing capabilities
  • Strong expertise with Excel, Powerpoint, and data driven applications is required. Office automation (VBA/Macros) and/or SAS skills is strongly desired.
