Donna Wray, a management advisor for TGaS® Advisors, has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 15 years, including positions at two Internet marketing agencies and the former SmithKline Beecham, both in the United States and in Europe. In her role immediately before joining TGaS, Wray created and led an analytics practice for direct marketing efforts for thirty different pharma brands.
She has personally led or managed numerous projects supporting pharmaceutical products. She developed a “dashboard” and ROI (return on investment) model for several clients, including Pfizer Internet marketing across Pfizer brands. Also, she created a country market planning process for two of the top-ten brands in two different companies, established a KOL (key opinion leader) information/service platform for seven brands across four companies, facilitated information exchange between marketing and research and development (R&D) for several pre-launch brands, led information technology change management projects, ran the document management group for NDA (new drug application) submission components, and created various educational programs for R&D staff and for sales reps.
Major clients have included Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, AstraZeneca, Wyeth, Novartis, Roche, Sanofi-Synthelabo, Pharmacia, Abbott Labs, Schering-Plough, TAP, BMS, Berlex and Schering AG.
Wray has various publishing credits and contributed articles to DTC Perspectives and Pharma Voice, among others. She has made presentations at industry conferences on topics such as “ROI-Driven Promotional Mix for Pharmaceutical & Biotech Companies” from CBI. Wray’s online marketing expertise is supported by her education; she received her BA in Experimental Psychology from Bryn Mawr, and earned an MS in Computer Science at Villanova.
