Peter Bittinger joined TGaS® Advisors in 2006, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry to the company. Peter has worked extensively in designing and implementing information solutions for pharmaceutical sales and marketing customers.
Bittinger worked for 8 years at IMS Health, where he led the development team for data warehouse products and consulting. He also worked for 6 years at ImpactRx, where he managed the development of PDA software for physicians, and managed the database systems and IT infrastructure. Other companies that Bittinger worked at include G.D. Searle pharmaceuticals, and MCI Telecommunications.
He has been a guest lecturer the MIT Sloan School of Management, has been interviewed for IT industry publications, and completed a Master’s Thesis on the effects of price and profit regulation on the international competitiveness of the pharmaceutical industry in several different countries.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and his Master’s Degree in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
