TGaS Advisors Announces Promotions, Adds New Talent for Growing Benchmark Practice Areas

TGaS® Advisors, a benchmarking and advisory services firm for pharmaceutical commercial operations and a division of KnowledgePoint360, announced four promotions and six new Directors/Management Advisors with a broad range of senior-level expertise. The promotions and staff additions reflect the firm's significant growth in several key areas.

Peter Bittinger

Peter has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Formerly Vice President, Operations and Analytics, Bittinger is responsible for the development of the proprietary data and analytic systems that generate the firm's "outside-in" perspective.

Gary McWalters

Gary is now Senior Vice President with responsibility for the Marketing Advisory Practice. This newly created group is designed to serve Marketing Operations, Marketing Sciences and Digital & Relationship Marketing clients with a coordinated series of benchmarks and advisory services. McWalters, formerly Vice President, Management Advisor, built the firm’s client outreach program.

Don Paras

Don, who leads the Marketing Operations practice, and Brian Deppen, who works with Managed Markets and helped develop the fast-growing Training & Development solution, were named Executive Director.

New Directors/Management Advisors
Susan Clement

Susan, Marketing Operations Practice, is a seasoned marketing professional with expertise in brand planning, market assessment, market research, strategic planning and market access. Most recently a strategic marketing consultant and Director of Analytics for Eurand Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Clement also held a broad range of positions at Merck & Co., Inc., for nearly two decades. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Bucknell University, an M.S. in Immunology from Hahnemann University and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Temple University' Fox School of Business & Management.

Jack Else

Jack recently joined the firm's Managed Markets Practice. His professional expertise spans more than two decades in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on managed care. Prior to joining TGaS Advisors, Else served as a Managed Care Solutions Sales Executive with IMS Health. He also worked with Merck & Co., Inc. and Merck-Medco Managed Care, Inc. for nearly 20 years, holding positions of increasing responsibility in Consumer, Pharmacy, HMO/PBM Customer and Managed Care Brand Marketing. He is a Business Administration graduate of Drexel University.

Karl Kraft

Karl is a new member of the Marketing Operations practice. An experienced pharmaceutical business operations and project leader with special expertise in the Medical/Legal/Regulatory process, Kraft was at AstraZeneca for more than 10 years, where he worked in Promotional Regulatory Affairs, Medical Education & Regulatory Compliance, Legal & Scientific Affairs and Global Cross-Commercial Strategy. Kraft earned a B.S. degree in Marketing at Saint Joseph's University.

Debbie J. Lee

Debbie works with the Sales Operations Practice to help clients manage their sales-related functions, structures and processes. Specializing in this area throughout her 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, her career spans small, mid-tier and large pharma as well as contract sales. She has an economics degree from Elon University.

Ashley Mahoney

Ashley works on Digital & Relationship Marketing, and is experienced in all phases of digital marketing with emphasis on quantifying its impact and improving its effectiveness. Prior to TGaS Advisors, Mahoney was with AstraZeneca, most recently as Business Insight Director, Digital Marketing Solutions. Experienced in brand marketing and Commercial Operations, she has also worked in pharmaceutical consulting. Mahoney is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University where she earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.

Steve Vitale

Steve works with Marketing Sciences and Global Marketing. He came to TGaS Advisors from GlaxoSmithKline, where he most recently served as Innovation Director for US Vaccines. Vitale also planned and led product launches and commercial strategy in Global and US Marketing. He holds a BA in Political Science from Amherst College and an MBA in Marketing from The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
