TGaS Advisors Awards "Best in Benchmark" to Nine Pharmaceutical Brands

East Norriton, Penn., June 2, 2014 – TGaS® Advisors named nine pharmaceutical brands “Best in Benchmark” for 2013 consumer and health care professional digital marketing performance. The designation is the only industry award to use verified quantitative performance as the measure, according to Donna Wray, Vice President and Digital Marketing Practice Leader for the benchmarking and advisory services firm.

The winning brands all have one or more “outstanding” performance metrics, scoring significantly higher than all peers in the benchmark for 2013. These blinded, confidential studies compare against peers selected from more than 60 brands. The benchmark covers 63 different metrics. This year only nine brands qualified as “outstanding.”

  • Enrollment and Engagement: Gilead & Assembly for Ranexa® (ranolazine)
  • House Email Open Rate: Purdue Pharma L.P. for Butrans (buprenorphine), Intermezzo® (zolpidem tartrate) and OxyContin® (oxycodone HCl)
  • Paid Search Engagement Rate: Daiichi-Sankyo & Underscore Marketing
  • Winners for Paid Search Cost Per Click, Engaged Website Visits, Volume of Mobile Visits, Website Volume, House Email Click Through Rate and Paid Search Volume requested that their names not be used.

Wray observed, “Now in its fifth year, the Best in Benchmark awards really demonstrate the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns.
