Founded in 2004 by Steve Gerard based on a question he kept hearing from pharmaceutical colleagues: "How do other pharmaceutical companies do 'it'?"® Steve focused on Commercial Operations, an underserved area for pharmaceutical and biotech consulting. A visionary leader, he developed the innovative idea of fact-based collaborative benchmarking and peer networking to give companies an "outside-in" perspective on their commercial processes.

The idea was brand new for the industry, and the fledgling company took off quickly. From half a dozen employees working above a shop in Ambler, Penn., in 2006, TGaS Advisors has grown to 50+ employees in a suburban Philadelphia corporate office center and is the go-to firm for Commercial Operations. Steve also realized another goal: to create an entrepreneurial culture that rewards innovation and collaboration.

Today's leadership saw new opportunities for sharing the TGaS fact-based approach and deep proprietary database with emerging pharma and biotech companies to launch new products and build their commercial capabilities.

In 2015 TGaS introduced Emerging Life Sciences Network (elsN) to offer peer support, data and insights to emerging and pre-commercial companies. The company also launched TGaS Insights, a report service designed to give readers insights and actionable recommendations on a range of commercial issues.

TGaS Vendor Insights, an online vendor management solution for commercial leaders was launched in 2016. This service covers vendors serving the entire commercial spectrum of service providers, with access to a deep repository of searchable vendor profiles.
