Account Executive, Emerging Life Science Network - TGaS Advisors

TGaS® Advisors, a division of Trinity Life Sciences, is a leading management advisory firm focused on providing comprehensive benchmarking and advisory solutions to commercial operations leaders across the bio-pharmaceutical industry. TGaS provides commercial leaders with solutions focused upon 10 key areas: Field Operations, Incentive Compensation, Learning & Development, Marketing Operations, Medical/Regulatory/Legal, Commercial Analytics & Insights, Omnichannel Marketing, Market Access & Reimbursement, Pricing & Contract Analytics and Medical Affairs. TGaS serves clients across the spectrum of large (top 35), mid-sized, and emerging life sciences (pre-commercial) organizations.  TGaS Advisors contributions help to inform our clients’ commercial structures, operating practices, resource planning and capabilities development.

In 2015 TGaS Advisors launched the Emerging Life Sciences Network (elsN) to support pre-commercial and emerging life science companies.   This division leverages the data assets of TGaS in a self-service, more economical model supported by an assigned account manager.  Due to elsN’s success and growth, we are seeking an Account Executive to manage an assigned group of clients.

 

Account Executive

The Account Executive position is responsible for managing, supporting and upselling a group of 12-20 elsNetwork clients. This person will serve as a liaison between elsNetwork clients and the various resources available within TGaS to support them. This person is expected to build, develop, and foster relationships across each client, to ensure clients are leveraging their membership services and identify opportunities to expand additional services and solutions.

An effective Account Executive will drive a high level of annual rejoins based on the satisfaction and value their clients derive from elsNetwork services and solutions. The Account Executive will be responsible for leveraging and coordinating internal resources across TGaS solutions, as well as the broader Trinity offerings, in support of their clients.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and sustained long term relationships.
  • Support assigned clients based on contracted services
  • Monitor client activity to ensure active engagement, develop relationships with executives and  key decision makers to support and grow the business
  •  Lead onboarding meetings to initiate new clients memberships
  • Conduct regular meetings with all assigned clients and their appropriate decision makers
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans in support of all assigned clients
  • Leverage TGaS resources as needed in selling and supporting clients
  • Identify and enable Trinity cross selling opportunities, facilitate client meetings and manage the opportunity pipeline
  • Expand elsN membership to additional functional areas within each client
  • Facilitate and secure client contract renewals
  • Maintain effective internal communications with internal resources to ensure client alignment

Skills and Experience

  • Proven 7 to 10 years combined Pharma and vendor side experience selling and supporting commercial leaders
  • A solid understanding of the commercial areas in pharma Sales, Marketing and Managed Markets
  • Candidates may have held a commercial position in a pharma company (ideally emerging company)
  • Bachelor’s degree.  Master’s degree or MBA a plus.
  • Comfortable with Sales Force.com, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word 
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be resourceful with attention to detail
