Sanofi - Primary Care IC Senior Manager

The Sanofi Primary Care IC (Incentive Compensation) Senior Manager will be based in Bridgewater, NJ & will report to the Senior Director of Field Deployment & Incentives, part of the Business Operations & Support (BOS) team. The Senior Manager of Primary Care IC will be responsible for the following areas:

IC Plan Design

  • Work closely with Primary Care BU TAs (Diabetes, CV & BioSurgery) Commercial Leadership to understand 1-2 year commercial strategy & to align on key supporting sales force levers which Base IC Plan, Contests & Annual Award Program (CfC) can support
  • Development & review of methodological options for Incentives with PC Commercial Leadership to align Incentives with commercial strategy (annual process)
  • Lead the process to align on current period IC plan design, implementation & communication
  • Maintain continuous improvement mindset through periodic (e.g. semi-annual) review of IC Plan Performance & establishment of longer term IC Roadmap

Communications

  • Develop comprehensive communication plan for Base IC, Contests & Annual Award Program (CfC) including strategy, cadence, channels & budget
  • Define & garner required communication related resources
  • Lead IC Workshops, Resource Fairs & Training & engage with broader Sales organization at various meetings re: IC (e.g. POA meetings)
  • Tailor IC Portal (Field Hub) to each TAs needs & manage content flow with Sales Leadership & vendor (ZS)

IC Administration

  • Review brand forecast & IC goals with Finance & Commercial Leadership quarterly, calling out misalignment with trends or with partners (e.g. Regeneron) when appropriate
  • Report on monthly IC Plan performance to Commercial Leadership & Sales Professionals
  • Oversight of quarterly payout process including QC, eligibility review & sign off
  • Manage quarterly IC calendar for assigned Primary Care teams, triaging & responding to exception requests
  • Host or participate in regular Primary Care off-shore IC Team calls as needed

Other

  • MBO Process: Design collaboratively with Primary Care Commercial Leadership, ensuring adoption of MBO best practices, obtain approvals (as appropriate)
  • Contests: Interface with Primary Care Commercial Leadership, review methodological options, obtain approval including Legal input, implement & pull through (as appropriate)

Qualifications

  • 7 years of healthcare industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred
  • High-level of familiarity with bio/pharmaceutical commercial operations functions, specifically in the areas of Sales Force Incentive Compensation
  • Excellent communication skills & the ability to clearly communicate actionable analytical findings to Sales and Brand leadership with corresponding communication of technical details to technical team
  • Role is based in Bridgewater, NJ. Periodic travel for F2F communication, including Sales Meetings & with Partners or Vendors, required.
