Sanofi Genzyme - IC Senior Manager

The Sanofi Genzyme IC (Incentive Compensation) Senior Manager will be based in Cambridge, MA and report to the Senior Director of Field Deployment and Incentives. The Senior Manager will be responsible for the following areas:

IC Plan Design

  • Work closely with assigned TAs commercial leadership to understand 1-2 year commercial strategy and align on key supporting sales force levers which Base IC Plan, Contests & Annual Award Program can support
  • Develop and review methodological options with TA leadership to align to commercial strategy
  • Lead the process to align on current period plan design
  • Maintain continuous improvement mindset through periodic (e.g. semi-annual) review of IC Plan Performance and establishment of longer term IC Roadmap

Communications

  • Develop comprehensive communication plan for Base IC, Contests & Annual Award Program (CoE) including strategy, cadence and budget
  • Define and garner required communication related resources
  • Lead IC Workshops & engage with broader Sales organization at various meetings re: IC (e.g. POA meetings)
  • Tailor IC Portal (Field Hub) to TA needs and manage content flow with Sales Leadership and vendor

IC Administration

  • Review goals with Leadership, report on performance to TA Leadership
  • Oversight of quarterly payout QC, eligibility review and sign off
  • Manage quarterly IC calendar for assigned Specialty teams, triaging & responding to exception requests
  • Host or participate in regular Specialty IC Team calls as needed

Other

  • MBO Process: Design collaboratively with TA leadership, ensuring adoption of MBO best practices, obtain approvals
  • Contests: Interface with TA Leadership, review methodological options, obtain approval including Legal input as appropriate

Qualifications

  • 7 years of healthcare industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred
  • High-level of familiarity with pharmaceutical commercial operations functions, specifically in the areas of Sales Force Incentive Compensation
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate actionable analytical findings to Sales and Brand leadership with corresponding communication of technical details to technical team
  • Relevant expertise in using data-handling tools such as Excel and SAS; have experienced using an alignment software (i.e. Javelin Territory Designer) is a plus
  • Role is based in Cambridge and individual must be local and not commuting from elsewhere. Periodic travel for F2F communication, including Sales Meetings and Bridgewater, NJ for team meetings, required.
