Alkermes - Manager, Digital Campaign Execution

The Manager, Digital Campaign Execution will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our Marketo application. Working in conjunction with brand teams and their agency partners, this person will serve as the operational lead for data segmenting/collection, list segmentation, email campaign execution, landing page creation, optimization, testing, and deployment within Marketo. This role will report directly to the Associate Director, Digital. As an active and involved member of the Marketing Operations team, they will continuously champion and advance the use of marketing automation and centralization within Alkermes. This position requires strong analytics, operational skills, a collaborative mind set, and great attention to detail.


  • Own the day-to-day relationship with Marketo, identifying, escalating and closing support reports
  • Serve as primary point for brand teams and agencies of record to design, develop, test and implement their programs within Marketo
  • Analyze and make recommendations to improve the existing lead scoring model and implement approved changes
  • Work to increase lead acquisition and bring the organizations messages to new audiences
  • Troubleshoot and prioritize issues with the lead management process and integration with marketing automation platforms
  • Build and maintain smart lists
  • Make program and process improvement recommendations to help define and improve campaign execution efficiency
  • Execute A/B test plans to improve marketing campaign performances
  • Gather and interpret requirements to support brand strategy; provide guidance and insights to campaign owners regarding segmentation of lists
  • Manage campaign reporting marketing KPI's to measure campaign performance
  • Understand the end-to-end flow of marketing data for optimization and reporting purposes
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of Marketing Operations projects in support of brands' strategic goals
  • Manage Marketo database to ensure accurate, clean and complete data; collaborate with internal master data management team for consistency across systems
  • Manage and execute the creation and deployment of brand website pages.
  • Manage multiple website implementation and deployments of brand websites.
  • Socialize best practices across brand teams and external vendors


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Communications or related field of study preferred (or in progress)
  • 5+ years' experience in marketing operations and automation administration (Marketo, Eloqua, Hubspot, Pardot or Silverpop)
  • Experience with Marketo preferred; Marketo Certification is an advantage
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Experience working within Content Management Systems (Kentico, SiteCore, Adobe Experience Manager)
  • CSS, HTML, jQuery, and JavaScript experience a plus!
  • Demonstrate business analytic skills with the ability to extract insights from data
  • Understanding of the campaign management process, attribution and measure and marketing funnel management
  • Comfortable working autonomously and self-motivated to drive campaign performance
  • Excellent planning, prioritization and organization skills
